Old Fort Days Rodeo Returns – May 26–31, 2025

The excitement is building for the 92nd annual Old Fort Days Rodeo, happening May 26 through May 31 at Kay Rodgers Park in Fort Smith. Taking place nightly at 7:30 PM, this high-energy event brings together elite rodeo talent from across the globe, all competing for a piece of one of the biggest prize purses in the state.

Attendees can expect a packed schedule of heart-pounding events, from bull riding and saddle bronc riding to calf roping, team roping, and barrel racing. The rodeo also features bareback riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, and a variety of kid-friendly events, including wild pony races and the always-entertaining mutton bustin’.

The festivities begin Monday morning, May 26th, with the traditional Old Fort Days Rodeo Parade at 10:00 AM along Garrison Avenue in downtown Fort Smith. This year’s parade will highlight the impressive Express Clydesdales from Yukon, Oklahoma—majestic horses that will also appear in the arena later that evening and take center stage during the grand entry on Tuesday, May 27th.
